Tips for your Denver professional headshot – “Chin down”
One of the MOST important elements of getting a GOOD, professional and ENGAGING headshot (to attract the clients you are looking for) has to do with the placement of the CHIN… yep, your chinny chin chin matters!
When your prospective client sees your headshot, you want them to feel as if you are interested, listening and essentially LOOKING right at them. There’s nothing better than direct eye contact. To get this desired effect, you will need to:
1. turn your chin more directly into the lens
2. drop your chin down a bit
3. turn your head over the shoulder closest to the lens
Having your chin down means just a “bit” down, really just a 1/2″ makes a difference and will create a nice angle to your face which is often slimming.
