I’m a Denver-area photographer specializing in professional headshots, personal branding, and corporate team photography.
From my studio in downtown Littleton to offices throughout the Denver metro area, I work with individuals, executives, and companies who want professional photographs without the stiff, corporate look.
After more than 21 years behind the camera, I’ve learned that finding a photographer you connect with can change how you feel about being photographed. My clients often leave saying, “Wow, that was WAY easier than I thought!”
A glimpse of the person behind the camera.
01
What’s the first thing you notice about someone when they first walk into the studio or on set?
Usually how they’re carrying themselves. Are they confident, nervous, rushed? That tells me how to start.
02
What do people usually say before we even start?
Some version of “I hate having my picture taken”. You’re not alone! Almost everyone says the same thing. My favorite part is when that changes, and you see a few images of the back of the camera and think, “Oh, that actually looks like me… I kinda like it!”
03
What’s the difference between a photo that looks good and a photo that actually looks like you?
A good headshot isn’t just technically correct… it captures who you are right now. Confident. Approachable. Real. We’ll guide you through expressions, angles and posing so the final images look natural, not forced.
04
People worry that they don’t look young enough, perfect enough… enough in general. Yet they’ll point to a photo from 20 years ago and say, “Wow, I looked pretty good back then.”
Twenty years from now, you might feel the same way about a photograph taken today.
Enjoy the now.
05
What’s the soundtrack playing for a shoot with Kelly Weaver?
Almost always 70’s rock. Think Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty and a few guilty pleasures mixed in. Good music keeps everyone relaxed, and it keeps the energy upbeat… even when I tell terrible Dad jokes.
06
What’s something that people might be surprised to know about you?
I’m a certified color analyst which means I’m a bit of a color nerd. I love helping client choose clothing that not only looks great on camera but makes them feel confident.
07
When someone sees their finished photos, what’s the reaction you’re hoping for?
I love seeing the moment they recognize themselves and maybe think, “Wow! I look good.” Even better when they feel like the photo represents the real person and gives them confidence to show up in their work and life.

Bonus Question: Cat or Dog?
Oh I love all animals, including cats, but I’m partial to a particular terrier currently… meet Lucy.
